KK is a writer and adventure sports instructor and guide who found her way back to the mountains in 2021. Raised in Boulder, Colorado, she holds a master’s degree in Classical Greek and Latin Literature from Oxford University. She began adulting as a fashion writer in London and New York City, but when the pandemic hit, she relocated to the Catskills and started teaching skiing at Belleayre Mountain.

Today, KK splits her time between the Rocky Mountains and the East Coast. She holds PSIA Alpine Level 2, Children’s Specialist 2, and Freestyle 1 certifications. She is also an ACA Level 2 coastal sea kayaking instructor, has taught whitewater kayaking with the Colorado River School, and is certified in Wilderness First Aid.
